Revenue sharing

The Fairmat project needs you!

Fairmat Srl promotes the coding of open-source plug-ins for Fairmat by sharing with the community of  developers the revenues from the commercial versions of Fairmat.

On July 1, 2011, the first selection of official plug-ins will be done.  The developers of these plug-ins will receive a share of  10% of the revenues from the licensing of the commercial versions. 

If you would like to develop plug-ins for interesting applications in any area where Fairmat can be used (and in any other areas we have yet to think of), please follow the steps below:

• First, sign up as a developer(sign up here).

• Then, upload your plug-ins to the plug-in developer area. Your plug-ins will be assessed by the other members of the community (including us). Hopefully, this process will permit you to improve your piece of work.  At the end of the assessment period, the best plug-ins will be considered f to become official.

• If your plug-in is chosen for the official bundle, you will be eligible to receive a share of the revenues as long as the plug-in is the official bundle. So it is your responsibility to maintain/update/improve your plug-ins.
